In partnership with the Wisconsin Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Remember Project will present a live event featuring “Fortune Cookies” by Bonnie Dudovitz – performed in ASL. Initial funding from the Wisconsin DHS BOLD Initiative set the stage for this tour. Additional support has been provided by the WI ODHH Behavioral Health Initiative.

Gather with us to share light refreshments, learn about available resources, and then watch the short play “Fortune Cookies.” Mona has a great idea! This vibrant octogenarian is determined to be the first to know if her recall is slipping beyond what can be considered normal, age-related memory loss. An unexpected visit from her son David reveals that she has cooked up a way to help herself and others be on the lookout for the early stages of dementia.

Following the play we will have a facilitated conversation about the play.
